ALCCI

The American Libyan Chamber of Commerce (ALCCI) was created to provide a national forum to develop and advance economic, commercial, industrial and cultural relations and ties between the United States and Libya. ALCCI, an independent non-profit and member funded business group, was specifically designed to facilitate all levels of U.S. – Libyan Commerce and Investment, and to advocate and recommend policies that can promote shared economic and business interests and issues for the benefit of both countries. ALCCI donates a large portion of its revenue to a charitable fund organized to provide scholarships to Libyan students wishing to study in the U.S., scholarships to Libyan American Students, among many other initiatives.

The key purposes and objectives of the Chamber are:

(a) To provide a business forum to develop, expand and strengthen economic, commercial and cultural interests between the United States and Libya.
