Reading / Madeleine Thien / Do Not Say We Have Nothing

We're so excited to host Madeleine Thien for her Man Booker short-listed novel, Do Not Say We Have Nothing (WW Norton) in conversation with Terry Hong, creator of Smithsonian BookDragon, a multicultural book review blog for the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center.

Join us for a reading, conversation, questions, and a signing!

"Thien takes ... history and weaves it into a vivid, magisterial novel that reaches back to China’s civil war and up to the present day. At its heart are the interlocking fates of a set of characters who live for and by music, until their world is destroyed by the events the revolution unleashes." (The Guardian)
