'American Expressions - TOLERANCE IS PATRIOTISM: A Pilgrimage In Search Of The American Spirit'
http://www.usaexpressions.com/about.html
Artist Ira Hill invites the public to communicate their truths, their passions, their gratitude, and their gripes on the icon that represents us all, united. The act of sharing their thoughts on our flag emboldens their rights as a citizen, momentarily reviving the notion that “my opinion matters.” Ira is employing cultural shock treatment to resurrect the concept within the populace that we, in this country, do have the power of political action, but we must respect, peacefully, the rights of others to do the same. This combination and contrast of expression and tolerance is the core of our American idea. The resulting images and experiences will be complied into an anthology documenting American Expressions tour during the election year 2016.

More dates to be announced soon!
